THE 2011 OFL LABOUR HONOUR ROLL SCHOLARSHIPS

The OFL awards two scholarships worth $2,000 each to a member or the child of a member of a local union affiliated to the OFL. The scholarships are awarded in honour of distinguished trade union activists selected by representatives of the OFL Executive Board.

The deadline for applications is Friday, May 27, 2011.
The winners will be announced by Tuesday, July 5, 2011.

DID YOU KNOW...

After you work a year for the same employer you must get at least two weeks vacation with pay. Your employer must pay you at least 4% of your total wages for the year.

If you quit or are laid off before working for one year, you must get 4% of your total wages as vacation pay.
