Since 1999, SolidarityWORKS! has provided a forum that brings labour and community activists together with young workers (30 years of age and under) who receive hands-on training on labour issues such as workers rights, human rights, health and safety, education, organizing and mobilizing.

This year following the “training” portion, 20 of the participants will be given the opportunity to put their new skills into action during a five-day on-the-job placement with one labour or community-based organization.  Those selected for the “training into action” portion will continue-on for the remainder of the week working with their designated organization.
